Nog bij de Jumbo op Texel voor een prikkie opgepikt. Ik hou van deze stijl en ben er prima content mee.

Moutig, hoppig, ietwat rokerig, maar vooral turf. Geur neigt wat meer naar karamel en chocolade, maar dit is niet terug te vinden in de smaak. Beetje dun. Verder wel oké.

Aardige scotch ale. Peaty whiskey had voor mij wel wat dikker gemogen. Net als het smokey deel.

Smaakt als een bitter met whiskey. De rook zit er iets te subtiel in. Gewoon heel erg lekker in de zomer, maar ik kan me voorstellen dat het in de winter of na meer biertjes -ondanks de booze- niet “explosief” genoeg is. Perfecte prijs-kwaliteit verhoudin
