Has a soft coffee, chocolate, bourbon smell with pinky finger head. Nice rich chocolate flavor with some caramel in there, slight black molasses. The bourbon sits perfectly in there nice roasted malts. Medium mouthfeel I dig it! Glad I picked this one up

This is a really nice stout. The chocolate and coffee notes balance each other nicely. The bourbon is clearly present but not overpowering or boozy. It’s nice and warming. Well done.

Had this a few days ago. Very clean and clear chocolate/coffee flavor. It is what is expected of a breakfast stout done very very well. If only I knew when to drink something like this...(it's not breakfast)

Well balanced. Chocolatey, semi-sweet, and boozy. The bourbon and oak barrel minimize the strength of the coffee flavor, which is overly dominate in their flagship breakfast stout. Overall, a solid brew.

I think this one sealed the deal that barrel aged anything is so-so imho.
