Rich, malty and boozy. Right inline with what you would expect from an imperial stoutt. Enjoyed it. Would reorder

The smell alone makes it an interesting beer and then the first sip ¡wow!; chocolate coffee alcohol all that fighting to be noticed in the mouth.

Maple syrup aroma wafts off the top. A complex symphony of coffee, vanilla, toffee and molasses intertwines with a soft, comforting booziness. At 12% ABV it should be a sipper ... but it's hard to put down

The coffee and chocolate are slightly overpowered by the bourbon from the barrel ageing. Smooth and full bodied.

Eleven years, properly cellared. Nary a whisper upon cracking. Dark chocolate, mild coffee, and booze dominate a beautiful nose. Flavor still delicious, albeit past it's prime. Smooth chocolate and bourbon with some good wood flavors. Always enjoyable

4.25+ ... bourbon, caramel, vanilla, smooth yet boozy. Medium body et semi creamy mouthfeel, je m’attendais a un peu plus de corps avec le ABV mais ca passe emplement le test

Geur is meteen bij openen een mooie barrel. Smaak helaas te overheersend scherpe koffie. Verder chocola en een tikje barrel.
