Roasty, chocolatey and some coffee bitterness. Notable bourbon and liquorice. Alcohol taste was well masked. Sweet milky finish. Absolutely smooth and delicious. Bold and rich stuff. And of cos... Extremely dangerous.

How a stout should always be. Thick and creamy. Chocolate and coffee really stands out. Loved the whiskey like burn. Warmth in a glass.

Smooth, malty, flavorful, and drinkable. Big fan of this guy. Probably the smoothest bourbon barrel I’ve had. Strong yet comforting while sipping. Thanks Michael S. for having a sober several months and gifting me this high quality beer.

Het is blijkbaar de dag van de bierliefhebber. Dan moet je natuurlijk je beste paard van stal halen: deze KBS is sinds feb '19 "over datum" en aan het rijpen. Heerlijk drankig, al moet hij wel even geschud tegen de klontjes die door de stilstand vormden.

On the other hand, this bottle of KBS was a let down. Had this many times and never was it so devoid of flavor and depth. Seemed thin and just not up to form especially when I was able to compare right after having a CBS.
