big rich caramel body, robust roasty malty mouthfeel. Aged well since being bottled in 2018. Great kickoff beer for the SC/ NC bowl game. Long lasting finish made it so delish!

Dit is mooi. Amerikaans qua zoetheid/stroperigheid vs zuur. Smaak gelaagdheid en heel mooi. Complex. Maple, koffie, gebrande bitterheid. Heerlijk

Unreal that I’ve never checked in with this. Founders is really hitting me well lately. This is so classic and pure and simple in its delights. Doesn’t try to do too much. Chocolatey coffee rich in the stout w/just the right dab of bourbon from the aging.

Nice and smooth for a 12 banger. A little roasted peanut coffee is what I’m picking up, but more subtle than the Espresso variant. This is outstanding. Hides the booze well.

2015 vintage. Pulled it up from my cellar beer storage. Tast is mellow as expected.
