I’ve not rated this beer in a long time. One of the first Bourbon aged beers I ever had… still one of my favorites. Maybe for sentimental reasons, but i feel like it has stayed consistent for years.

Aged a year…. It was unkind. Now had a very bitter profile. Won’t be finishing :/ I won’t change the rating as I aged it. It is originally an excellent drink

It’s dark, it’s delicious— and it would be absolutely perfect if you wanted to get drunk over pancakes. It’s syrupy, but not like griddlecakes— it’s dark and heavy, but distinctly sweet. I’m a fan.

Smooth, deep chocolate and coffee, hint of booze on the finish. Pours like syrup, black, very thin tan head that quickly dissipates.

For a year round BA stout this stuff is f-in fantastic. Solid - solid - solid.
