2019 is still real hot. Covering up any coffee or sweetness

I'm having this KBS to finish Johnny Carson's 200th beer to finish his 10th plate. RIP buddy.

Aroma is dark chocolate syrup with hint of mocha. Bubbles and color are very dark. Texture is super thick and heavy like sludge. Tastes like a sweet chocolate black coffee. Metallic taste is hidden somewhere in there. Low bitterness -but some. My favorite

Zooo wat een smaaksensatie! Laurier en koffie voeren de boventoon. De rijping op de bourbon vaten is ook goed te proeven. Heerlijk!

Always a favorite but at 60 degrees this becomes gold.

When I was working and living in the tobacco fields of central Kentucky as a 7 year old Sioux brave dreaming of a career in either botany or waste management I always mixed my stout with bourbon even when the hillbillies scoffed and farted in my direction

Close to perfection. Velvety smooth. Sweet and bitter, sooooo dreamy....

Aged 2 years. Intense unsweetened chocolate up front with some bourbon that lingers. I don’t taste much coffee. Not in the same league as CBS for smoothness or palate diversity, but still really good for a Friday evening treat.

Hello fall. KBS is like an old friend you haven't seen in years but when you chat with him it's like no time has passed at all.

Staying in Michigan for the nightcap tonight. This new situation where you can buy cases of KBS whenever for less than $100 or about $4 apiece really makes you reevaluate which beers are worth spending $4+ on. Used to be twice the price. Just as nice.
