2016 KBS vs 2015 Big Bad Baptist. I would have bet it on Epic. But KBS crushes it. Takes at least 5 years to mellow. And 6 years… damn that’s good

Boozy and sweet on the nose. Tastes drier than it smells- I’ve had their regular Breakfast Stout and this is much more dark chocolate and coffee, no maple syrup. Finishes bitter chocolate.

Аромат ликёр кофе (свежемолотый) чуть-чуть горького шоколада и ноты бочки и виски. Тело густое плотное чёрного цвета. Вкус умеренно сладкий на первом плане кислинка свежесваренного кофе чуть дымных нот и горький шоколад в окончании ликёрные и ноты бочки.

I’ve been a bit scared of this one, mainly due to the ABV and the fact it’s probably ‘matured’ several more % above its value… but have finally found the courage to crack it open… pours like engine oil and rating may vary further into it! 😄

Den som inte gillar kaffe går på en rejäl nit. Smaken av brända kaffebönor dödar alla andra smaker inklusive sötman. Min första och definitivt sista KBS.
