As the texture of the brew is heavy, the flavor is bitter and strong. Wouldn’t recommend if you’re not a coffee drinker as this would probably make it hard to drink.

Really thick and rich. Definitely notice the coffee flavor over the chocolate.

Creamy finish, initially chocolatey in taste, with hints off coffee upon aftertaste.

Just to many flavors going on for me. Chocolate AND coffee AND bourbon barrel on top of the natural flavors was to much.

Alcohol content is good. Otherwise a stout with heavy flavors of chocolate and coffee

Trying to get lit on one beer? Probably the one for you. Rich in flavor but tastes a bit like someone spilled vodka in my drink. Not my thing but if you like them dark and strong, it's probably yours.

Strange since I'll love high abv. Not sure what happened tastes like someone made a vodka infusion to mimic a stout. Must be a fluke.

Not bad. Second barrel ages stout I’ve had that gave me a weird off sour taste.

Almost has a bite like bourbon. Stronger than the Frangelic KBS. Not as chocolaty, not as hazelnutty, not as creamy.

Forgot to post this last weekend. I’m sure it’s a good beer objectively but it tasted like 🔥 🗑 to me

Meh, not my cup of coffee(-vanilla-stout). Lots going on, but rather artificial aroma, and expected a better mouthfeel for this abv.
