It has been a while since I’ve had one of these. They are still good, but I’ve had better in the last 8(?) years. Has a bit of a harsh alcohol bite that isn’t present in other barrel aged beers. The vanilla is coming through really well.

Smooth and thick; boozy, then sweet with a light chocolate note.

This one was from 2018 and still has a little boozy kick but so smooth with the coffee and chocolate notes. Amazing.

Dark brown, almost black. Low carbonation. Smells sweet, a bit fruity, and coffee-ish. Flavor really is a perfect balance of smoke, roasty coffee, & sweetness of vanilla & chocolate. Probably imagined maple syrup too. Very smooth & sessionable

Big bourbon, vanilla and wood at first followed by rich cherry maltiness. Coffee emerges on finish with a cold brew flavor. Moderate CO2; Full body, luscious and smooth. That 12% abv is pretty intense but clean (and the only reason it’s not perfect).

This was great bourbon finish and hints of chocolate.

This is brewed date is 1/31/23. Still absolutely incredible. Love the strong flavor.
