Heerlijk, maar dat wist ik al. Nu uit de tap en dat is toch wel altijd weer beter. Zwart, creamy, chocolade, rood fruit en brandy? Ondanks de 12% voelt deze niet te heavy. Top!

you know those chocolate bars that are 90% cacao? Exactly that, but in a beer. This tastes like it should be paired with coffee, except my cardiologist doesn’t recommend mixing a 12 ABV beer with caffeine. I hope you didn’t plan on driving tonight.

One of my favourite stouts of all time, it lives up to the name it has now become. I’ve been following these for years some earlier vintages are better for sure and I think that’s because it’s no longer seasonal and has become more mainstream for them.

Black tar pour with chocolate head. Deep, decadent flavor without being overly sweet. Chocolate and coffee dominate. Bourbon barrel finish without overt booziness. Surprisingly smooth for ABV. Excellent.
