Oh yeah. Hoppy, unfiltered goodness. Piney resin, hint of dankness, malty backbone with a tad bit of sweetness. Good companion for sunset and backdrop of Santa Catalina mountains at dusk. Prost!!

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2023) Parker
Dark chocolate on the nose. Lots of coffee and dark chocolate followed by very faint maple and barrel. Miss the previous versions. Happy Holidays!

Wake Up World Wide Stout (2022) Parker
Beer advocate extreme beer box - random grab out of box - #7 of 12. Delicious stout. Some dryness, lots of coffee, roastiness, and get some of the notes of cinnamon and maple on the finish. Very nice.

Oh yeah. Typical richness of KBS, but the notes of my babe’s fudge brownies mixed in. Hell yeah!!

Solid. Nice maple nose. Enjoy the slight cherry tartness. Smooth and oak and bourbon barrel aging worked well here.

So much better than the last 120 I had many years ago. This is a hoppy, boozy bomb. Malty too. Nice sipper - not sure if 18% or 21% ABV, but either way a doozy. Why I’m I doing this might before St Patrick’s Day?

Long day, long week. Had to pop this one tonight. Coffee and dark chocolate with some hints of maple. Lost a bit of maple with the aging it seems. Still - outstanding. Cheers!

Utopias Barrel - Aged World Wide Stout (2021) Parker
Lots of flavors in this one. Vanilla, bittersweet chocolate, toffee, and lots of barrel. Even hints of red wine. Way thinner than I was expecting. Boozy too. Cough syrup taste finish.

Had to get a nice barrel stout in tonight. Thankfully, my sniffer is coming back. Def smelling the vanilla and cinnamon in this one. Lots of cocoa too. Will save last one until sniffer back to 100% and maybe a virtual tasting with a friend or 2.

Pretty even taste of cinnamon, vanilla and cocoa. Not much barrel. Look forward to trying this again though as the TIPA prior may be messing with my taster.

OMG. So much flavor....hints of the maple syrup and a freshly baked chocolate cake. Almost heaven WV! 🍻. I know a pediatrician that will love this brew. Look forward to sharing it.

Getting darker as the hours tick down to midnight. Last two songs of Nightwish show at Wacken 2018 playing. Ghost love score and last ride of the day. All pediatricians and adolescent psychs should give them a listen. Mad I didn’t find them sooner. Prost!
