Not too sweet. I can taste chocolate and coffee. It is very strong, but smooth.

2018 variant. Tasting mostly barrel. Kinda one note and hollow. Thick but maybe a lil syrupy. Good but not great. I can see the hype, but does not hold a candle to some of my local breweries’ BA stouts.

2020. Not the same. More coffee and less of everything else. It sure isn't aging well.

Staying in Michigan for the nightcap tonight. This new situation where you can buy cases of KBS whenever for less than $100 or about $4 apiece really makes you reevaluate which beers are worth spending $4+ on. Used to be twice the price. Just as nice.

Tastes a bit more boozy than I remember it. Still prefer the CBS.

Great coffee taste, taste the barrel aged as well, slight bourbon taste, creamy as well
