Nice dark and bitter taste, but some rich and wider aromatic taste is missing.

I've had this before and much prefer Great Lakes Porter, this is too roasty perhaps? Never have viewed this as an excellent example of a porter

I don't care. This beer is close to perfect. I haven't had it in years and one sip was like a time machine. Sweet, roasty, chocolatey and a nice dry finish. Perfect for this time of year. Where are all the porters and stouts?? I miss the early 2000s.

Geur koffie, smaak in de mond stevig geroosterde mouten, afdronk zacht waarbij hinten van vanille en chocolade voorbij komen. Smaak blijft redelijk hangen. Vooral niet te koud drinken...
