Pours unfiltered deep brown with thin head and super sticky lacing. Smells of toasted chocolate coffee. Taste is medium malty sweet with toasty toasty follow through with touch of coffee chocolate and spiced. Perfect example. MB. The Beer “Bear”on

After revisiting many months later I have to upgrade my original score. This is a go to porter for me and it’s delicious.

Lots of roast and lots of bitterness. Actually, a little more bitterness than I'd prefer. The roast is at right at the point where any more would be oppressive. Idk why I expected something a little more mellow, but it is in no way mellow.
