Classic proter. Chocolate, coffee, roasted malt aroma. Burnt malt, chocolate, coffee, and earthy flavors. Chocolate Burnt malt aftertaste.

Not good. Not sweet at all. Was overly bitter and pretty thin tasting. "Coffee notes", I guess but not enough to save it. I have a soft spot for 6.5% beers, which was its only salvation.
