Strong coffee and charred oak barrel tasting stout. More sweetness needed and little roasted at the end of sip. Some vanilla notes. Not bad overall...cheers!

Curmudgeon’s Better Half (2018) Besinaiz
A very smooth ale aged in bourbon barrels with maple and molasses notes. Just enough sweetness to balance all out nicely. Mouth coating and gets better with every sip...cheers! Thanks Chris M.!

Oude Geuze White Vermouth Foeders Besinaiz
Lambic light body brew aged in oak foeders previously used for white vermouth. More on the sour end and very oaky. Hints of grape and other fruit notes. Not too bad...Cheers!

A smooth stout with high coffee tastes but low on the roastness which is good for me. Balanced well despite the high ABV...nice!
