Late check-in from last night. The🍺is an appropriately strong Scotch ale from Founders. The movie ✅ checks another box for the HoopTober challenge and makes 2 of 3 Asian films now. “Seoul Station” is an animated prequel to the superb “Train to Busan.”

Есть такие пивоварни, увидев в продаже которые сразу понимаешь - "это того стоит". Для меня это как раз оно. Нос тягучий, карамельный, в барлик. Вкус на балансе - солода, спирт, нотки щепы - это крепко, спирта много, но это именно то, что мне видется

Wow! This is a cheeky brew, it's not what you anticipate it to be. It slides past your pallet really easy. The aftertaste is clean, crisp and vaguely nutty.

Still one of my favorites. So glad NOVA finally got this back. A little more bourbon flavor than what I remember though.

Excellent, scotch ale with a good single malt whiskey. Barrel flavor. The description from Founders is on point. This was bottled 7-17-2020

Barrel aged with notes of scotch, caramel & smoky oak. Smooth & strong with a warm scotch finish. 11%

Straight up the aromas get me with Bourbon overloads which carries on to the flavours with also plenty of dark fruits, vanilla, caramel, oak and slight licorice. Great upfront but got better as I sipped on it and let it warm!

Oak, bourbon, and caramel dominate in this barrel aged strong ale. This one starts out sweet and finishes with an over powering boozy bourbon finish. Slight taste of maple pushes this beast over the top!

Smokey peat phenols precipitates tantalizing urges for scotch neat imbibement, dry kilt lifting kiln barley sounds the Wee Heavy palate pibroch, toasted caramel toffee towers over taste receptors like Scottish Thistles in full bloom upon Highland taiga.

Bottled on my 2nd anniversary. This beer is a delicious, high quality beer that any avid stout drinker will like. Great nose, great body, great flavor. Will be getting this again.

Bottled 2017. Gets so much better with time. Smooth and complex with rich flavors.
