Had this fresh last July and remember the blueberry being a little too tart. A year later and the blueberry tartness has mellowed out some and makes for a more balanced flavor profile. Better balance of blueberry and chocolate flavor. Still lacks barrel.

Subtle and light for a BA stout. Nose is roasty, blueberry up front. Perhaps a hint of barrel too. Balance is good and yet I'd hoped for more of the barrel

Take a chocolate covered blueberry & a chocolate bourbon cordial & mix. This beer conjures that. Thick & rich. The last blue beer in the holiday red, white, & blue beer project.
