Dark as night, oily head, oily and creamy mouth big chocolate and coffee, big hit in the middle of more intense flavors, some malt bight the first time around, mild abv burn. The spice kicks in 2/3 through on the throat, and lingers.

Yuck!!! We love BA stouts. But this Blueberry variation is AWFUL!!! The Bluebery tastes like cough syrup and doesn't jive with the BA stout. If you're gonna order this, ask for a small tasting first. You've been warned!

Another unexpected disappointment from Founders. KBS used to be our favorite barrel-aged stout. This was not bad, but sort of flat.

NOPE. It’s like drinking thin maple syrup, there’s no strong ale backbone to this at all!
