Very good pastry stout, sweet to balance out roast plenty of chocolate and coffee flavor comes through. Smooth and full bodied good mouthfeel. Could drink a few if not for 11.7% abv

Hard to believe this is possible, but this noses out KBS as the best of these wonderful beers from Founders. Near perfect blend, like when a symphony gets it right and the experience is sublime. Nothing dominant and yet nothing hidden. It’s all there.

Fantastic drinking. Intense chocolate and coffee taste and adequate syrup sweetness. The bourbon barrel aging rounds off the taste and body well.

2019 ver, aged 5yr. Suprising still SOLID! A Thick mouthfeel with a Chocolate & coffee forward flavor with an almost grahm finish. Srill SO good. :)
