An extravagant beer deserves an extravagant mug. Not German, a Canadian breakfast stout. I guess in Canada, they use maple syrup & lots of alcohol in their breakfast. Sweet, but impressive for the fire power (11.6%). Aged in maple syrup bourbon barrels.

This beer poured the thickest, darkest I think I've poured. Good, strong flavor. Was hoping for more of that bourbon kick. A little sweet towards the end.

01.10.19. для меня с зелёным кофе на выдохе тут уже перебор. да и сладости многовато. а кленовый сироп вообще ещё никого не красил. в общем, строго на любителя. хоть бурбон не подвёл.

Considering maybe bringing back untappd for more limited use but we'll see. Another beer that I would've lined up around the block to pay over $1/1oz for a few years back that I now find underwhelming. I'll happily take a pilsner or amber over this now.

One of my favorite from Founders. A smooth rich coffee/ chocolate combination, with sweet hint of maple to close out.

A lot more stouty, I feel the coffee could have come through a bit more. Overall very good, maybe just not my type of brew.

Bourbon and maple are big in this beer. Some coffee and its very sweet and punchy.
