En este caso el barril no sólo había añejado bourbon sino también jarabe de arce. Y el resultado es una cerveza llena de sabor. Huele a malta, chocolate y se percibe el alcohol. En boca es dulce, chocolatosa alcohólica, malta tostada. Un verdadero postre

Had a pour a couple days ago. Thanks, Liz! I wish I drank it side by side with the regular KBS to better compare. Pretty close, but fuzzy memory. Couldn’t imagine why?

2019 bottle. Aroma of chocolate and coffee. The taste features a strong amount of coffee and chocolate with faint amounts of maple syrup and even more faint oak. Finish features bitterness from the chocolate and coffee and mild warmth. A great beer!
