While I like mango habanero sauce on my chicken wings, this combination isn't working for me with this fruit ale. Too much heat.

I cant explain the taste. It’s sweet but not like any fruit I’ve ever had. It has all the signals of spicy food without being spicy. An interesting novelty drink

Strong mango scent. Strong mango flavor which finishes booze heavy. Its a sipper.

Nose almost like a white wine. Sips a little like wine. Has a tannic quality. Chili heat and a decent amount of fermented mango flavor. This is a great beer with a low amount of carbonation. Little boozy.

Not the same as the original. Way sweeter and not as much habanero spice coming through. Still tasty. Pairing with Olivia serie V Melanio.

Not too much spice or heat but the flavor of the pepper comes through nicely.

One of the better fruit ales. Love how the mild backend pepper hits.

Perhaps a smidge too much habanero, but not bad. Can taste the 10% ABV, which makes you do a double take on the flavor. Still - not shabby.

I can’t think of one absolutely less than perfect thing about this beer. 🥭 🌶 🍺 . So amazing mango with a finish that warms the palate.

Light mango on the nose with bolder mango syrup up front. Some sweeter, caramel on the middle. Caramel w/ touch of esters on the finish and warmth that comes in from the habanero; not too hot but lingers a bit. Perhaps more 3.75 on avg but feelin it today

Pretty interesting! The aroma is a mild and fruity. The taste initially comes across as sweet mango BUT immediately follows up with a hot spicey kick from the habenero peppers. I didn’t read the label and the peppers were interesting .

Pretty much just as I remember the original being. Excellent,

Not the best rendition of the mango+habanero. Free Will & Terrapin have done much more interesting versions, but as an ipa, not a pale. This one is subdued mango, with negligible habanero heat maybe if it aged in a rum barrel for a bit, hmmmm, Founders?

Like the touch of heat. It reminds me of a barley wine. Good citrus
