The Ampersand single-hop series is all about expression. We created a balanced, medium-body New England base to best let the hops shine. Each beer, and each hop, has a distinctive personality. Here a double-dry hop of Motueka gives us fresh zesty lime and white grape skin notes with a gentle bitterness in the finish. Easily one of my beers of 2022. Wonderful balance of fruit and delicious hops. And a creamy head! Slides down too easily - just as well it’s only 6.5%. Just hope they have some left on Boxing Day for Callum O. (The Hornet, CHI)
