Versus: Westward

IPA - American

Versus is a two-part series where we explore the differences between two IPA yeasts while keeping the process and all other ingredients the same. For Westward, we used US-05 American Ale yeast. Eastside uses WLP066 London Fog yeast. Both have a luxurious double dry-hop of Wakatu, Amarillo and El Dorado. In Westward, we experience tropical notes of mango and melon on a dry body with a resinous and bitter finish. Compare the two beers and have opinions.
