Zwaar BA (rye whisky), maar wel mild van smaak. Licht zoet.

Dry Bitter makes awesome IPAs, but so far i can't say the same about their stouts. This one is just ok with strong coffee aroma and chocolate taste, but i couldn't detect any barrel aroma or taste and its whiskey inclusion seems minimal. It is average.

Mooi collab tussen een brewpub en en brouwerij. Mooi in balans. Tonen van vanille koffie. In reuk boozy, maar ik de smaak valt het mee.

Nez très BA, un peu boisé. En bouche le chocolat prend le dessus en finish.

Blijkbaar al een keer eerder gehad. Erg mooie collab. Het bier had wat voller/dikker gemogen.

Everytime I see a big BA stout from a good DK brewery I get my hopes up and everytime I'm left disappointed. Thin, roast, no barrel.

Either there’s a big difference in the Stauning Whisky barrels OR this has been aging way too long* • almost no existing of barrel notes • some smoke • ashy and dark • don’t get chocolate • kinda like the taste, but U don’t get as promised = not okay 😵

Good oldschooly-vibes stout with some vanilla and whisky, smooth, coffeeish some roasty, kinda subtle, not really any barrel but good balanced sipping, big thx Jeppe P.
