I Heard You Like Strata

IPA - American

Continuing our exploration of the goodness in single hop varieties.  Built on a hazy IPA base of Pils & wheat malts with a splash of flaked oats, this version features the hop variety Strata.  Used abundantly in the kettle, whirlpool and dry hops, this Pacific Northwest variety brings notes of tropical passionfruit and dank herbal notes.

Grassy, tropical fruits, lighter body than expected from the style

Too much of a grassy taste for me and there were definite dank notes in the aftertaste. Not my favorite

Rather generic. Certainly not bad, but nothing unique
