This is a benchmark IPA. Beautifuly crafted. Historically great and still great, but a little old-fasioned.

six years later and have been sick of NEIPAs for a while. Appreciate the maltiness of this AIPA. think i'd prefer more pine but it's good.

Guess I’m spoiled with all the craft ipa out there. While this is definitely good, I don’t see what all the accolades are about. Maybe my expectations were overly inflated by the reputation.

It’s been 6 years since I last had this. Malt base is slightly toasty. Hops smell and taste of pine needles and green tea though actual bitterness seems low (is it still 60 IBU?). Body seems medium-light as does CO2. It is smooth with a malty/hoppy finish
