This is my second time with this IPA by Dogfish. The first time I had it I was not prepared for it. The second time however, I feel I appreciate it better. This is best imperial IPA I've experienced so far. Its Crisp and dark lager like. Well made though

A coffeeish malty note hits the palate from start to finish… a hoppy resin coats the mouth and lingers… (* badge hunting 101.)

I've been looking for this for a while. It didn't disappoint. Rich caramel malt and good bitterness too - it's almost like a Belgian dubbel or tripel in part.
