Floral, hoppy notes, caramel, and grapefruit rind all pop out of the glass. All that plus some malt on the palate make for a consistent and bitter, yet rich character.

Strong malty hops avoid being very bitter. Medium amber color and aromatic piney smells on the nose.

I had 90 minute IPA from Dogfish Head. The flavor is some caramel, citrus, grapefruit, orange, and a grapefruit rind and pine resin bitterness at the end.
