Always enjoyable to come back to this one. For me it's a lesson in balancing balancing bitter and sweet for the slightly sweeter good.

A nice toasted maltiness with sufficient bitterness. Wish it were a bit more floral but could be an older bottle. Very good all around, a fine imperial IPA.

Aromatic floral tropical fruit scent. Dark golden color high clarity nice off white head good lacing. Smooth medium full mouthfeel slightly crisp on tongue. Stone fruit sweetness lingering orange rind and pineapple finish. Retronasal booziness

I like to revisit this beer about once a year, as sort of a palate refresher, or calibrater. My perception always changes a little every year. I'm liking it a little better than last year.

Boozy and fine on the palate. Needs a bit more malt to be a classic imperial for my taste, but a worthy effort.

👁clear, slight carbonation, foamy head dissapates fast, pale amber👃sweet malt to mango👅smooth, caramel to mango, complex, slight drying, mouthcoating, mild hop finish

A pain killer (mental and physical) after a bad round of golf at Legacy in Phoenix. It did the trick! A wonderful Imperial IPA.
