Thick mouthfeel, malty but not juicy/sweet

Such an interesting brew, just a malty ipa that is smooth and then the alcohol comes through at the end

Been drinking this for years whenever I see it in bottles, fresh on tap kicks it up a notch. For a big brand, this one still hits hard & is consistent.

Can’t believe I’ve never checked this in before. Just drank a 24-ouncer at the metal show and damn it was good! Sipping fine beers as the metal bands play … oh yeah! Listen to Rhythm of Fear and Wretched Angel. SICK!

V surprised I haven’t logged this. Definitely not my first time drinking. Listened to a great podcast on dogfish and decided to get some. Probably never appreciated the smoothness of this imperial until now. 4.25 for smoothness in a V not smooth category

I was too harsh on it in 2015. It’s a lovey brew! Jesus Christ this kid is a mess!

Trying with limited success to teach them how to play liars dice With limited success. They did bring me beer though, so the rest does not matter!

The rosettes match the color of the label, flavor goes pretty well with it too.

Whoa. This tastes much lighter than it is, clobbering you over the head with its ABV as you casually sip through the early evening, slowly turning your attention to more frivolous matters just as this gets to you and you realize you need conscious focus.
