Some fruity dank juniper up front. Then a weird metallic note. Then a nice long juniper finish.

I should'a had this 15 or 20 years ago when I drank Coke all day long. Way to thick and sweet for me now. But it is exactly cherry cola. Unfair to rate it.

Rose and hibiscus. Absolutely lovely. The yeast residue really brings out the raspberry flavor.

I get the velvet from the lactose, but where are Geddy Lee and the rest of the band? Or is that just a metaphor for Canada and the sweet maply Bourbon (even though there's no maple in this)? The mocha is nice and bitter, deeply roasted.

50°N-4°E (Batch 6 - 2020) Levy
Really good, especially as it warms and opens up. The yeast sediment only enhances it.

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2018) Levy
Good excuse to finally steam clean the dining room carpet. Thankfully, only a few ounces was lost. Happy Thanksgiving!

Chocolatey maply coffee goodness. Not boozy at all. That's dangerous!

Effervescent dark berries. Finish is somewhere between an oak aged cabernet merlot and a ruby port.

What do tonight's beers have in common? They're past their prime. But this one's only 5 months past, and still pretty darn good.
