Definitely not an IPA anymore, more like a barleywine. But that’s fine with me! I do prefer 120 minute, though. Might as well go bigger and badder.

It is one of the more veteran double IPAs out there. More malty than hoppy to me though (I like crazy hoppiness).

Hoppy aromatics, a little malty and hoppy on the tongue. Not a bad Imperial, hints of sweetness with a soft bitter finish. Not bad Dogfish Head.

It’s hoppy— it’s heavy— but it’s also pretty damn smooth. Surprisingly so, really.
