Strong essences of a west-coast IPA with very apparent flavors of sap, resin, and hops. Malt notes in an extreme fashion that are not for the faint-of-heart. Most likely not a daily-drinker, but still refreshing if you're prepared for a challenge.

This beer is the opposite of a hazy IPA. It’s almost characterless but the hop flavor is so strong and good that it makes up for it. There is also no bubbly or carbonated mouthfeel. It taste almost like a slightly watered down liquor with a sweet flavor.

DF vs. Veil, have to give the nod to Veil as their version is not as malt forward as DF which I prefer.

Rather sweet aroma. Malt comes through strong with its sweetness but still has a bitter characteristic. Smooth, light boozy essence.
