Coppery and malty, with a hint of sweetness. A pure, traditional iteration of the style. Thanks, Jim Mac.

Mid-bodied, quite flavorful wee heavy. Cinnamon bourbon maple vanilla, in that order. Deceptively light for 11%. Enjoyed it as a sipper tonight.

Deliciously dry and roasty KBS variant. So balanced and flavorful, outstanding coffee notes too. Thanks, Bob!

Bottle Shop Series: Nemesis Dunay
Had higher hopes, but a mixed bag...hop power, moderate bitterness, and yet a distinct lack of caramel malt BW notes. It’s fairly harsh, too, and I’m not convinced empirically that aging will temper it. Underground Mtn. Brown it’s not. Come on, dudes.

Curmudgeon's Better Half Dunay
Wow! Delicious maple, vanilla, and caramel notes, less raisin malt, more maple barrel notes. This elixir is wonderful.

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2018) Dunay
Everything has aged beautifully in this, my oldest aged CBS. Maple and vanilla, so smooth now, the abv completely hidden. Tasty.

Underground Mountain Brown Dunay
Simply the biggest bang for the buck there is in coffee infused BA ales. It’s insanely good, aged for a year in underground caves, and replete with complex coffee and bourbon-barrel flavors. Seek & Destroy.
