A Bit Sweet. Definite Ultra High Octane, but not Unpleasant. Almost a Bit of Lemon. Bitter Rind Finish. Not Hoppy.

This is not what Iâd consider a hoppy IPA. Itâs more like drinking a 15-20% ABV Chimay Blue. But I love Chimay Blue. Caramel, booze. So, enjoy a great strong beer. Sip.

Do you like hard liquor? Then this is the beer for you.

No idea how old this is, but I would guess at least 6 years old.

Tastes like a barley wine. This one is at least one year old, maybe two.

Bottled 3/22/18. Not as cloyingly sweet as it is when fresh, more balanced, more nutty, almost tannic like a red wine. Don't drink quickly otherwise you'll be wondering where you left your feet. They're in the umbrella stand!

It's a damp, drizzle, chilly day. This is a perfect brew for the day

Gotta bring out the big guns while riding out a hurricane, but the taste is too boozy for me

As always, think of it as wine or even hard liquor, and drink it as such. Youâll enjoy it more if you donât think of it as beer. Itâs special, though, something with a ton of depth and complexity if you take your time with it.

Last night at 1010. Enjoyed this beer for my daughter's birth, brother's game, and many other special occasions. Cheers.
