Very malty, caramel, sweet, clean and bitter backbone. Notes of bread and fruit cake. Strong and boozy

When I was first getting into IPAs 20+ years ago I came across this at Discount Liquor in Waukesha for the first time. It’s really big and boozy, way more than I typically like. What’s funny is that, like most DIPAs, the hops aren’t all that noticeable.

IPA meets barleywine. Not bad, but it’s too reminiscent of nail polish remover for a higher rating

Аромат насыщенно сухофруктный с оттенками цитрусов. Тело высокой плотности достаточно жирное. Во вкусе сладость карамели вкупе с сухофруктами и оттенками ванили и дерева. В послевкусии горечь, но среднего уровня и ярко чувствуется алкоголь. Скорее барлик.

Last time I had this beer we had a few at the end of a night of drinking and playing poker. I don’t clearly remember anything after but I definitely had a cheesesteak. This is boozy yes but has a nice funky sweet flavor as well.
