When you miss a day of vacation due to flight cancellations you open a big boy.

Delicious. ABV isn’t overwhelming. Neither is the IBUs. Very strong but surprisingly smooth. If you can get your hands on it, do it.

I am a heathen who dislikes IPAs, with the notable exception of this one. Over the years, I have had it only a few times, but it always delivers.

Same as it ever was. I bought this last year and was reunited today.

Just a beautiful beer. How they get that much ABV and not taste overly boozy is insane. One of my favorites. Tasted with friends and each wrote their impressions. One just said “sex”, which seems accurate. It’s that good

Holy shit it's 120 on tap. A first for me. Sublime.

Checking this in as a formality, as I just checked in the 2018 vintage.

Popped this open after having Flying Dog 18 at Beerheads and both are similar! Both around 18% and barleywine sweet! 18 is smoother than 120 which has a little more bitter boozy bite 🍻😍 like born🍻

Since it’s IPA day and this is one of the few I actually like

An absolute pleasure every time I try it. Dank, of course, but surprisingly sweet and malty. That abv makes for an efficient evening.

Five years, one transplant, one Elizabethkingia sepsis, one following extensive rehab, one lockdown and pandemic, and at least 8 grandkids later, been waiting to drink this one since 2017 with this guy who survived through it all. Cheers, Pop! Love ya!
