120 Minute IPA

IPA - Imperial / Double

The Holy Grail for hopheads! Clocking in at 15-20% ABV, 120 Minute IPA is continuously hopped with a copius amount of high-alpha American hops throughout the boil and whirlpool, and then dry-hopped with another pallet of hops. Unfiltered and abundently hoppy.

It's sweet, some dark fruits, grapefruit and a pine resin bitterness at the end. It is a little bit boozy but in a warming and subtle way. It is delicious.

Vertical flight of 1yr aged, 3yr aged, and 4yr aged. Honestly all tasted like barelywines. They became sweeter and less malty and hoppy with age. Very interesting.

Its been a while. So glad I aged her for a while. Alcohol, bitterness and carbonation mellowed out. More of a barley wine/strong ale now.

Better than I remember. Maybe because it’s straight from the source. Hard to call an ipa. Sweet like a barleywine.
