Good smell before, great taste, horrible after burn. Deserving of a 4.25

Incredibly strong and took some warming up to, but I soon started to enjoy it.

From 2012 - aged well. Strong vintage ale style. Raisins.

Waited almost 4 years for this bad boy. Has turned into a deep sweet almost maple barley wine. Very different than a fresh one. Nice slow boozy sipper.

Amber, hazy. Fine head. Big hot nose, dusty, estery, touch of dark chocolate. Palate of sherryish intensity. Huge body, sticky. Reminiscent of a super strong English Barley Wine. Big sweetness followed by big bitterness. ABV 16.5%. Bottled 08/08/19.

A decade under the influence. 10 year aged. Mellows it out but still boozy. Love it.

Wonderful on tap. Amazingly smooth for an 18% IPA. Sweet and not bitter.

This was a 2016 version aged and turned into a barleywine-like ale.

It says it ages well on the bottle and it’s right! This bottle is around 6 years old and it’s pretty nice! All body, though. The hops is gone.

Pretty good. Not available locally. Bought a 4 pack in Oklahoma. Pricey at $40. Was the white unicorn of beer for me. Glad to mark it off the list.
