Unreal how smooth this is. Very heavy malt base with some light pine notes and quite bitter, but strangely balanced. Heavy, boozy and thick. Delicious notes of caramel to finish. Sick brew, glad I finally tried it. 🤙

Lay it down! It mellows and balances out. Super smooth and malty and not real boozy. I aged it about 8 months

Good smell before, great taste, horrible after burn. Deserving of a 4.25

Incredibly strong and took some warming up to, but I soon started to enjoy it.

From 2012 - aged well. Strong vintage ale style. Raisins.

Waited almost 4 years for this bad boy. Has turned into a deep sweet almost maple barley wine. Very different than a fresh one. Nice slow boozy sipper.

Amber, hazy. Fine head. Big hot nose, dusty, estery, touch of dark chocolate. Palate of sherryish intensity. Huge body, sticky. Reminiscent of a super strong English Barley Wine. Big sweetness followed by big bitterness. ABV 16.5%. Bottled 08/08/19.
