Midas Touch

Historical Beer - Other

This sweet yet dry beer is made with ingredients found in 2,700-year-old drinking vessels from the tomb of King Midas. Somewhere between beer, wine and mead, Midas will please the chardonnay and beer drinker alike.

From RB. Sweetish malty aroma. A weak aroma. The flavor is sweetness, dry maltiness, and some cidery notes. The 9% is almost unnoticeable but it warms nicely.

Toasting to my best buddy, whom I lost today. Love ya, Eric. A golden beer for the best golden retriever ever. Thanks for 14 great years.

Revisiting this one. I didn’t remember being a fan. But it’s pretty good. It feels like they didn’t quite commit to a style though.
