I've had this since either 2013 or 2017 (date smudged) It's mellow, but still has that 18% kick. Liquor on the nose, chocolate on the tongue, buzzing head. Wowza! Corinne B. Have you tried yours yet?

Figs. Chocolate. Caramel. Sweet sweet booze. Warm. Sitting in a fuzzy robe on the floor of our new place, drinking this bad boy, eating chocolate truffles. Life is good. Thanks Cindy W. and Jeff R. !! Miss you guys already ðŸ˜

Could be viewed as boozy but not as much as I thought an 18 percenter would be. Actually quite lovely.

very coffee dark nose on this one. first sip is boozy and dark chocolate. its thick and rich but not creamy. little bitter middle but back end is all syrupy but drinkable and not molasses. thin syrupy. it all works. would like a little thicker tho.

Honestly this is barely a beer; practically a liquor at 15-20% abv. so what’s up with that (Forgot to check this in last weekend)
