World Wide Stout

Stout - Imperial / Double

Brewed with a ridiculous amount of barley, World Wide Stout is dark, rich, roasty and complex. This ageable ale clocks in at 15-20% ABV and has a depth more in line with a fine port than with a can of cheap, mass-marketed beer.

I liked it better last time but it’s just too big and boozy in this afternoon’s bottle. A bit of cherry cough syrup, lots of booziness up front and very warm as it goes down.

2018 vintage. There is still a bit of booze to it after the aging.

Okay so first, it is 18% ABV. We checked if this is a record for us, & found that we once checked in a 20% barleywine that (not surprisingly) we hadn't remembered. This:Melted chocolate, fig syrup, pervasive port barrel notes. Elegantly fine achievement.

Now I'm not a giant stout fan, but this tastes pretty good. One time at my grandpas house, we had a dog over, and that dog took a dump in the kitchen. Grandpa calls us over and eats the poop, turns out it was just tootsie rolls. Tastes kinda like that lol

ABV 15.5 can't find that version as the UPC system decides and usually wrong. God Luck and Good Speed fixin that. This is a smooth, too smooth slightly sweet beer. Easy to drink, then hard to think. No boozy taste. Expensive but fantastic...like Weedeater

Tasted like a basic stout but not as good as the Original Gaelic. It tasted a little more bitter? Darker?

15% well hidden! Great roast, not too sweet. I would have thought 9 to 10%
