Bottled on (4?)/23/19. I didn’t like it when I had a fresh one, and I’m still not a fan now that it’s aged. Time may have mellowed it out a bit, but it’s still too thin, too sweet (yet also too bitter), and way too expensive.

Boozy at 15%… definitely had smoother and higher stouts… big sweet malts, roasty, coffee finish. Lingering roast and coffee, maybe some chocolate in there.

Soooo boozy. Really great but a little too barley wine for my preference.

After a couple of years not getting this because I refused to pay that much for one 12 oz bottle, I finally got this. And I hate it! That goddamn oak fucks everything up.

Can't put my finger on what the primary flavor here is but pretty decent. Pretty smooth for such a high percentage.
