OG bottle I got in grad school circa 2009. Did. Not. Age well. Totally dried out and acidic af. Acetic and oxidation. Sadly didn't hold up. But the 750 cost only 9 (!) bucks a decade ago.

Twelve years after its release & still fire. Paired it with the album, as recommended. Here's to the legendary and unmatchable Miles Davis! And, Dogfish Head circa 2010.

Lots of flavor, but nothing that I really enjoy. TJ said she didn't like it. I told her that I had tried it before and gave it a 2-1/2. "I could give it a 2-1/2," she agreed. I cut it to a 2, myself.

Very dark and little carbonation. Sweet honey and something woody and herbaceous -- maybe that's the gesho root?

Love the album, the beer not as much. This was a weird mixture. Perhaps it aged too long, maybe it was the blend of honey, gesho root, coffee etc. Either way, this was interesting, but not for me.

From the craigslist haul in #2019 Malty stout nose. Dark black color, brown head that faded slowly. Malty, with a weird sorta tart flavor that lingers after the finish. Meh. #forTheBadge #cellaringInPlace
