120 Minute IPA (2018)

IPA - Imperial / Double

Clocking in at 15-20% ABV, 120 Minute IPA is continuously hopped with a copious amount of high-alpha American hops throughout the boil and whirlpool, and then dry-hopped with another pallet of hops. Unfiltered and abundently hoppy, it's the Holy Grail for hopheads! We brew 120 Minute IPA a few times a year, but it goes fast. If you find some grab a few bottles -- some to enjoy and some to age.

It's like drinking a shot of booze. Its strong, with a boozy, malty taste. Carmel in color. Thin. Not that enjoyable. Overall, eh. #SippingBourbon

Found it aging in my closet. Guess I forgot about it. 3 years aging is the best.

First sip was a bit rough. Got easier to drink with each sip of this 6 oz pour.

I've had this aged before and liked it, but this one must have been room temperature on the store shelf. I hope I can find a fresh 2020 soon to make up for this let down.

I can’t believe there’s that much of a difference year-to-year, but here it is.

They say it ages well, but I only like it fresh. Just not for me when it's aged.

After buying this yrs addition I drank my oldest, this 2018. Taste has suffered, think hoppy isopropyl. Def tastes boozy. Don't recommend keeping them 4 yrs.

Sweet spot for 120’s has to be in the 2-3 year range. This is a bit too boozy and malty. Bottled 2/22/18

No carbonation left, pours muddy as wart, and smells like it too. Big malty boozy hoppy…been a while since I had one, but I’d swear this is barrel aged West Coast triple IPA

I mean....this is a barleywine lmao Not bad! Not too boozy, still kind of bitter. Kind of fruity, not unbearable after a few years.

BFLN. 9/7/18 date. I didn’t store this well but I think it held up quite well. It was malty but still plenty hoppy. The alcohol was well hidden too

A gift…Echhhhhhh…first time trying it…god this is a challenge. It’s still bitter in a weird way even tho the hops have disintegrated into nothingness. At least it gets you nice and warm after a few chokes. I have to give it a 3.75 for the artistry.
