No carbonation left, pours muddy as wart, and smells like it too. Big malty boozy hoppy…been a while since I had one, but I’d swear this is barrel aged West Coast triple IPA

Maybe a bit more caramel maltiness in this year, but still every bit of a big barleywine in spirit 🤤

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2017) K

Upfront sweet maple crystallized sugar, but still a very good coffee stout with subtle barrel warmth

Higher Math K

Smells like tart cherries, but smooth as all get-out! Six years in the cellar has rounded this out nicely, but still a sweet boozy mess

KBS Cinnamon Vanilla Cocoa K

Meh…all the flavors kinda muddle. Mostly roast coffee and dark chocolate, with powdered tastes of cinnamon. Not great

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge (2020) K

Head and shoulders above regular KBS, as the fudge tones down the harsh coffee...and probably on par with CBS until I try them side-by-side. Best thing from Founders I’ve had in a while, but there’s better coffee beers I’d look for first.

Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) (2016) 12.4% K

Still a tad on the bitter dark chocolate roasty side, even after 4 years in the cellar...just doesn’t do it for me anymore
